About JAMM entertainment
Founded by Jim McMahan in 1998, JAMM Entertainment Group has been shaping the sound of rising talent for over two decades. Jim began his journey with early acts like the TNT Boys, Mpress, and Primary Colors—laying the foundation for what would become a lasting legacy in music management.
In 2000, Jim partnered to launch Big 3 Records in the Tampa Bay area and transformed the TNT Boys into the chart-topping group B5 by adding their youngest brother. Under his leadership, B5 signed with Bad Boy Records/Universal, and their meteoric rise included performances on some of the world’s biggest stages.
During this time, Jim also played a key role in introducing the group to Disney, securing their place on the highest-selling soundtrack of all time—High School Musical—along with several other major Disney projects.
From discovering talent to securing major deals, JAMM Entertainment Group continues to empower artists with the strategy, support, and access they need to thrive in today’s music scene.
In 2024, JAMM Entertainment Group and Zimmerman International partnered to sign Minneapolis-based rock band Guytano, whose distinct sound and dedicated fanbase have positioned them as one of the most exciting acts to watch. With growing momentum and national recognition, their upward trajectory reflects JAMM’s ongoing commitment to discovering and elevating standout talent.
Jim remains devoted to the ever-evolving world of music—continually discovering and developing emerging voices while collaborating with re-emerging and established artists alike.
